This happened to me

i have read poems, one-liners , short stories and many more to do with the word "Smile".  But this strange incident that happened TO ME, was something that changed my attitude towards smile.

I was rushing to catch a rick to go to the bus depot and that was a time i was actually running late for a meeting. people familiar with the city are not new to the biggest bargains with our beloved auto annas.  after rejecting a couple of autos i finally found one soul who could transport me to the depot at my cost. getting in with a sigh of releif, my colleague and I exchanged a couple of smiles. the next fifteen minute travel to the depot had us involved in various discussions, from the days timetable to the festivals round the corner etc.

It looked like the 19B ( the bus which we take most often) was waiting just for us. My colleague had aleady crossed the road to board while i was waiting for the rick driver to give me back my change. He handed over the change and said " sister, neenge auto le yerumbodhu siricheengale....eppovume appidiye sireenge sister ." ( sister , you smiled when you got into the auto na, please keep smiling that way always)

Friends this happened to me. A stranger noticed my smile and wished for me to keep smiling always.

Imagine when a small curved line could make someone's day , why not y(ours)?? the rest of the day made me be so happy. for no reasons but just Happy.

Points to Ponder...........

Taken from ........well, "anonymous"

Why do we shout in anger? read on......
"A saint asked his disciples, 'Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?' Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.' 'But, why to shout when the other person is just next to you?' asked the saint. 'Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you're angry?' Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint. Finally he explained, 'When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance.' Then the saint asked, 'What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small...' The saint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.'"
MORAL: When you argue do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other more, else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.
